1. What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name through our authentication provider (Clerk). If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe — we do not store your card details.
When you use DinkBracket, we store the tournament brackets you create, including team names and tournament structure, in our database (Supabase).
We collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.
2. How we use it
- To provide and operate the DinkBracket service
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- To send product updates and offers — you can unsubscribe anytime
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
3. Third-party services
DinkBracket uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Clerk — authentication and user management
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — database storage
- Anthropic — AI bracket generation (tournament descriptions you type are sent to Anthropic's API)
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, as required to operate DinkBracket.
Brackets you share via a public share link are viewable by anyone with the link.
5. Data retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
6. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the product is used. No advertising cookies are used.
7. Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data by contacting us or using account settings. If you're in the EU, you have rights under GDPR. If you're in California, you have rights under CCPA.
